Aegis

The Aegis is a mobile weapon system concept developed by the Vigilant. Generalist Aegis mostly see use in the lower-class aspirant and augmented private military companies, and are often of lesser quality compared to the specialized combat vehicles utilized by government-controlled cyborg and revenant forces.

Classification

In order to classify as an Aegis, a weapons system must fall under a few traditions:

1. The design must be capable of hosting a singular pilot synced to to the vehicle by a Neural-Cradle within its own frame.
2. The design must be a registered military combat vehicle within the Vigilant.

Known Models

There are a stunning variety of Aegis models; this ranges from the agile flying models used in rapid-strikes to the monolithic siege colossi that dominated the battlefield during the Enlightened Ones' revolt against the Currai Imperium. Notable examples include:

• ASP-7 "Archangel"
