Vespid Heterodonyx, a former AI programmer, is considered by many to be Unbroken's main character[1]. He is the current Supreme Commander of the Empire of Namine.
Early Life
Vespid was born in 928 PRE.

Personality
Vespid's once bright, sarcastic, and joking demeanor has been worn down by years of tragedy, death, and destruction, leaving what could be described as a shell. Despite this, what remains of the Keilicaela he once was occasionally manages to shine through. A natural born leader and a logical thinker, Vespid turned out to be one of the Empire of Namine's best Supreme Commanders--even if he resents the role. Vespid's head may be in the present, but his feet are planted firmly in the past. He longs for the life he once had, a life that may never be reclaimed in a post-Corruption universe.
Appearance
Like most Keilicaela, Vespid does not belong exclusively or wholly to one particular subspecies; rather, he is a mixed breed. His large 8-foot-tall height suggests that he is part Aen-Keilicaela, while his exoskeleton's green hue is a trait possessed by Chi-Keilicaela.
Vespid bears a large scar on his right forearm where a Corruption Ravenger clamped its six-pronged mandibles down. He is also rarely seen without his Adaptive Combat Harness equipped.
Trivia
- Vespid has a clinical addiction to Twinkies.[2]
- As a running gag, a majority of walls Vespid leans against fall over. As such, he is not a huge fan of leaning against things, often pressing against an object with his hand to test its stability before doing so.
