Galactic Standard is a computerized translation software that a large majority of species in Milky Way Galaxy use in their translation technology. The software is written in a basic binary machine code, which means that it can be implemented in a huge variety of binary and ternary translation matrices. The software is notable for its intelligent translation logic, extreme speed, accuracy, and light hardware resource usage. No one knows who originally wrote the software, or how old it is. Entire departments at various academic institutions have devoted themselves to its study.
