Skidbladnir

Skidbladnir is the most notable of the Spears of the Aesir's longships, as it is the vessel Hromund the Unsparing resides in.

History

Skidbladnir, before Hromund the Unsparing gave it its name, was one of many of its kind in a line of the Dragonhunter-model destroyer vessels that have been so commonly appropriated by the Spears of the Aesir for use as longships.

Specifications

It is known that Hromund had the ship modified to house some sort of machinery that can fabricate weapons and armor.

Trivia

• Skidbladnir's namesake, along with Baldr's ship Hringhorni, was the "greatest of ships" in Norse mythology. Skidbladnir was either owned by Freyr or created from Odin's magic.
