Einstein-Rosen-Veil Bridge

The Einstein-Rosen-Veil Bridge type of FTL travel is a hybridization of wormhole travel and Veil travel. The drive uses Veil manipulation to "create" negative energy in order to actualize a wormhole in realspace.

Functionality

Wormholes require negative energy to create--an energy that cannot naturally be found in the Root Universe and that is difficult to create, even with quantum technology. The Einstein-Rosen-Veil Bridge drive uses the Veil of Webs to bypass this difficulty by having a Veil manipulator pull strands from the Veil of Webs to manifest negative energy in realspace, allowing a point-to-point wormhole to be created. While this form of FTL travel does not move a vessel directly through the Veil of Webs, the dark energy used to create the wormholes involved are fundamentally synthesized from Veil illusions, making travel through the wormholes just as traumatic and dangerous as more typical Veil travel.
