Rumi is a member of the Vigilant, who's Revenant holds the position of lieutenant within the Seekers. She is known for utilizing her replicates to covertly gather intelligence on the powers the Vigilant allied with to form the Syndicate: the Empire of Namine, the Alarian Splinter, and the Ashderian Regime.

Appearance

Because of her unique circumstances Rumi technically possesses many bodies; Fortunately the differences between the cloned forms are minimal. They each have pitch-black hair of ear length and skin so pale and bereft of features that it appears artificially white. Their main eyes have a black sclera and iris, making it difficult to distinguish where they're looking. The chitin that would adorn their limbs has been replaced with a polymer of dark tone.

Personality

Rumi can best be described as depressingly self-effacing, fiercly proactive, and wholeheartedly dedicated to Umbra's cause. Her industrious attitude, while earning her respect among the Midnight Council does not leave her with many companions.

History

Rumi was one of many experiments conducted by the Grand Order of Avalon where clone soldiers called replicates were produced from organic templates; These clones would then be controlled cybernetically by the Overmind. Rumi was liberated from this service after the betrayal at Castellum, but the replicates were left functionally useless without AI oversight. Having been recruited into the proto-Vigilant she fought alongside them during the War of Deliverance, though a feeling of powerlessness pervaded her service. When the Vigilant was formed, and the revenant process implemented, Rumi had made up her mind; She would reenter stasis to be used as a replicant template, and a revenant would be created from her personality to put in control of the dormant bodies.
