Sardoniryx, rarely called anything other than Captain Sardoniryx, is the captain of the Merciful Perdition and was the lead admiral of the Armada of Namine's Fire before its integration into the Second Empire of Namine; when Vespid Heterodonyx is not present in the Armada's ranks, Sardoniryx reprises his role as the lead admiral and the Merciful Perdition acts as the Armada's flagship.
