Sol Standard Time, abbreviated as SST, is a time standard based upon Earth's rotation around its parent star in the Sol system. This is the primary calendar system used by the Esperance Pact and several other human factions.

Breakdown

One year SST consists of 365 full Earth rotations. One Sol-Time day is 24 total hours.

Currently, SST uses the Gregorian calendar. Suffixes determine the era; AD for "anno Dominae," and BC for "before Christ." Example: SST-AD is 2125 SST-AD.
