Xaene is a high-ranking Revenant within the Vigilant and the commandress of the Revenant Host.

Revenant Stage

Xaene can technically be classified as a stage 1 Revenant. While much of her organic body remains intact, if augmented and treated for detrimental age-related conditions, her brain has been so heavily altered and enhanced that it renders her difficult to categorize.

Appearance

Xaene's is described to be delicately thin, fair-skinned, and posessed of chin-length white hair. Beyond the elbow and knee, her black insectile limbs are said to be an obvious cybernetic mimicries of her old organic ones. Her main eyes possess a black sclera, and artificial white irises that appear to glow with data every few moments. Six specialized ports line her back, each connected to a bionic tentacle-like appendage. These limbs, when not in use, have been witnessed to lay flat against the spine, coiling into a synthetic tail. Her movements are sharp, energetic, and always busy.

Personality

Xaene, from an outside perspective, can best be described as a dangerously studious introvert. Her seeming social inability stems from a handful of factors, but when it comes to unenhanced sapio-organic beings she is unable to relate to their relatively slow thought processes. When faced in a verbal exchange with such a being she's forced to shackle her own speed of thought in order to maintain a coherent conversation; In a digital exchange with sapio-sythetic life however, the gap in ability is lessened to a point where they can more or less speak as equals. She is especially known to dote upon the ancient revenants within her own forces, as if they were like family.

Skills

Even before becoming a Revenant, Xaene's capacity to access and process intense amounts of digital information within a miniscule period of time is astounding. She has demonstrated a near-perfect control of machinery she neurally interfaced with, and an eidetic memory and perfect recall of information relating to her machine-inclined profession. When faced with foreign technology or lifeforms, it is a simple matter for her to access and plunder relevant data from local networks, learning even incredibly sophisticated topics in a matter of seconds. This capability, now further enhanced by the Revenant process, allows her to coordinate the automated and sapio-synthetic forces of the Revenant Host with frightening clarity and precision.
