The Aegis is a mobile weapon system concept developed by the Vigilant. Generalist Aegis mostly see use in the lower-class aspirant and augmented private military companies, and are often of lesser quality compared to the specialized combat vehicles utilized by government-controlled cyborg and revenant forces.
Classification
In order to classify as an Aegis, a weapons system must fall under a few traditions:
- The design must be capable of hosting a singular pilot synced to to the vehicle by a Neural-Cradle within its own frame.
- The design must be a registered military combat vehicle within the Vigilant.
