The book can be divided into two parts.

Part One
Part one covers information over all of existence: history, science, religion, mathematics, and more. This part of the book makes up the wealth of its content, and is considered the most valuable. As new knowledge is discovered, Zaarthren adds it to the book telepathically and comments on his findings in part two.

Part Two
Part two is commentary on the book's information by Zaarthren. Zaarthren is a wise being, and often has many insightful things to say about major events throughout the course of existence, including the Singularity Civil War, the Fall of Namine, Ilanian Schism, and the cruel undertakings of the Currai Imperium.
Functionality
The Compendium can be read by any who desires--mortal or not. However, when its pages are opened, the book injects the mind of the reader with a random dose of information, regardless of what the reader was looking for. This is normally harmless, save for when the book shows its reader information meant only for the Singularities, and not mortal minds. Should the reader encounter such information, he or she goes insane almost instantly and either crawls into their own psyche, never to emerge, or commits suicide.

The Compendium Singularia is a Singularity artifact linked to Zaarthren. Although the artifact physically manifests as a book, it is not a tome in the traditional sense. When the book is opened, it is revealed to be a conduit for Zaarthren's stream of consciousness and memories as the user's mind is flooded with thoughts, voices, and visions that are not his own. While it is undeniable that a direct link to Zaarthen--an endless repository of knowledge and secrets--would be indescribably valuable, this value is totally negated by the equal measure of danger incurred when one chooses to open the Compendium; all documented readers have gone insane almost instantly, either crawling into their own psyches never to emerge or committing suicide. As such, the few who are aware of the Compendium's existence and understand what it is consider it functionally worthless other than as a horrible way to choose death.

The Compendium Singularia is currently in the possession of Ty Omand.
