Grimolf Guthrothsson is a Jarl within the Spears of the Aesir, holding command over Hringhorni, his designated longship. Grimolf is Hromund the Unsparing's right-hand-man, having been present in the Spears from its inception. Grimolf conspired to create a band of raiders with Hromund for some years before the Spears' foundation and was likely a primary architect in the Spears' construction--likely to the point of being more of a co-commander than a second-in-command, as is his official status.
