Phantom Drive technology is a form of faster-than-light travel developed by the Vokyran Ascendancy.
Development
Phantom Drive development happened exclusively on Voyakarai due to breakthroughs in quantum technologies. For Ashderian military, governmental, and science vessels, Phantom Drive technology replaced Alcubierre warp drive technology and other proposed/experimental forms of FTL travel once refined.
Functionality
The Phantom drive phases the ship in-between the normal dimensional universe, and the sub-dimensional universe named "Nightspace".
