Prime Ancestors

The Prime Ancestors were the precursor race to the Ilanians, having similar features and are noted for creating Line Installations, Resonance Gates, and the framework for Dräk's Central District.

Disappearance

The Ancestors disappeared in an event known as the Ignition, as a consequence of tampering too greatly with the Veil of Webs.

Legacy

Much of current Ilanian scientists not devoted to the effort of territorial expansion are focused on unlocking the secrets of these cryptic installations, but are making little headway. Ancestral installations are coming back online slowly, with much of Ilanian technology based on the older, lasting work of Ancestor researchers.
