The Root Universe is the universe in which Unbroken's main plotline takes place. It is connected to its sister universe, Universe:526F6F74, via the CM/XI Boundary.

Trivia

  • The etymology is a reference to an analogy: the Root Universe is the base of a nested directory of folders inside a computer. The Veil of Webs is all of the folders higher up in the directory; going up and down through these folders is movement through the Veil of Webs. Once you hit the very bottom (the folder with all the files in it) and provided it’s the correct one, that’s the root directory, the “Root Universe.”
