Voidcrossing is the Ilanian method of faster than light travel, utilizing the concept of slipping in between the third and fourth dimension. It creates a small field around the ship, placing it just on the outside of the third dimension. Laws of time do not apply, making travel nearly instantaneous, with most time being spent crossing the boundaries of the dimension.
