Phantom Drive technology is a form of faster-than-light travel developed by the Ashderians.

Functionality
From what little the Ashderian Regime has revealed, the process of how a Phantom Drive works can be broken down into four stages:
- Stage One: The drive powers up and opens a break in space. The break serves as an entrance to a sub-dimension that exists as a parallel to the current dimension in which the drive is located.
- Stage Two: A sort of shield forms around the ship in order to protect it against the strain of entering the break.
- Stage Three: An unknown form of energy pulses through the ship faster than the speed of light.
- Stage Four: The energy stream continuously flows around the sheild. The more energy that is introduced to the stream, the faster the ship using the Phantom Drive can travel.
Trivia
- The name "Phantom Drive" comes from the violently moving energy that can be seen flowing around the ship currently using the drive.
