Phantom Drive technology is a form of faster-than-light travel developed by the Ashderians.

From what little the Ashderian Regime has revealed, Phantom Drives use a unique form of dimensional manipulation as a form of FTL travel.

The name "Phantom Drive" comes from the name given to the violently moving energy that can be seen flowing around the ship currently using the drive. The 'Phantoms'-- more specifically the two waves of energy above and below the vessel-- are light emitted from the energy streams.
