Captain Sardoniryx is the commanding officer aboard the Merciful Perdition and was the lead admiral of the Armada of Namine's Fire before its integration into the Second Empire of Namine; when Vespid Heterodonyx is not present in the Armada's ranks, Sardoniryx reprises his role as the lead admiral and the Merciful Perdition acts as the Armada's flagship.
