Syndicate-Conglomerate War

The Syndicate-Congolmerate War was a very short war in which the Syndicate mounted a full-scale assault to wipe out the Holy Conglomerate of Litiket's effective military force. After this was done, the Syndicate installed the Heretics as the Conglomerate's new government. The war was in response to hard evidence that the Conglomerate was planning a a pre-emptive strike against the Empire of Namine using clandestinely-constructed Veil-based superweapons. The Syndicate's attack on the Holy Conglomerate proved to be a blunder, as the evidence suggesting its superweapons were to be used against the Empire was adeptly and secretly manufactured by the mastermind ex-Currai Imperium terrorist, Ashreksas.
