Zihiir's Star
The Zihiir's Star, more commonly known by its Esperance Pact reporting name, Hyperion, is Sovereign Commander Nikan's personal shuttle.
History
The Zihiir's Star initially served for several-hundred years as a high-speed transport for former heads of the Vokyran Ascendancy's civilian government, and had a rich heritage serving in that capacity. Sovereign Commander Nikan commandeered the vessel for personal use during the Gray Storm when he was still just the Navarch of the First Fleet. The original vessel was destroyed by Zoey in an incident after the Gray Storm. Commander Nikan issued an order for the Ascendancy shipyards to build an upgraded and modernized copy. Currently, the rebuilt vessel has been largely neglected in favor of the much more durable Ascending Eagle.
Design & Construction
Zihiir's Star is essentially a passenger cabin and cockpit bolted to a high-power antimatter rocket. The vessel is designed for pure-speed above everything else, and is rather unconventional for Ascendancy starship design. The vessel also features a rapid-jump-capable Phantom Drive. The ship was noted to be highly-luxurious by all who stepped foot onboard. As a counter-measure, the vessel can eject and detonate its antimatter fuel-stores.

Trivia
- This was the first of a long line of poor, undeserving starships blown up by Zoey Gemintry.
- This vessel was first visualized on the original Online Gaming Zombie Minecraft Server, and was the very first spaceship Layne ever built in Minecraft. A remake has been constructed on the current server.
