The Seething Sting was founded in 67 RE, making it nearly as old as the Empire of Namine itself. Though the organization was able to trace its roots to the Imperial city of Thutria, it operated without Imperial sanction and was considered a terrorist organization for its entire existence. Their most notorious act was the 113 PRE assassination of Zyrexis Scendtherinae, first Supreme Commander of the Empire of Namine and direct successor of Ferkanid Trinalak.
