Enthralled Sentinels

The Enthralled Sentinels are a series of various entities created by the Singularity Caranak to safeguard the Keystones to the Abiogenesis within Lower Singularium. Unbeknownst to Caranak, Nilvorin subverted the sentinels to his own will (thus their name) some time between the events of the Singularity Civil War and the return of the Chalidrytes to Universe BR-45327/B. Thanks to Nilvorin's debauchery, rather than allowing those who bore Caranak's blessing to simply claim the Keystones without adversity, the sentinels mercilessly assault all who attempt to recover the Keystones.

Varieties

Skinless Timanrans

Guarding one of the Keystones was a horde of skinless Timanrans. This grotesque swarm of monstrosities was mostly slain by the members of the Vigilant.

Flesh Worm

The Flesh Worm was a hulking, towering excrescence of contorted flesh and bone located in the Blood Plains of Lower Singularium. It was a conjoined--yet disjointed--mass of organic tissues formed in the rough shape of a serpent. It had four horns of bone, eight bulbous eyes, and an ever-shifting and swirling concretion of bloodied teeth. Interestingly, the Keystone it was tasked to guard was evidently a piece of its anatomy; Tartirus had to enter the beast's maw in order to retrieve the Keystone and destroy the Flesh Worm.

The Gestalt

The Gestalt towered fifteen feet high with an anatomy that consisted of a Keilicaela head, an Ilanian torso, and assorted limbs of Ashderian and Vasacar origin. Its head had a cluster of three deformed eyes (presumably of Keilicaela origin) as well as scaled-down Keilicaela stingers in place of mandibles. Where an actual Keilicaela stinger would be was located an organic whip-like appendage comprised of conjoined Keilicaela arms. Also on its anatomy were Chalidryte tentacles. Warmaster 21 and Cinetik, after a long and arduous battle, slew the Gestalt and recovered the Keystone it guarded.

Magma Aberrations

The fourth group of sentinels were highly unorthodox creatures called Magma Aberrations; vaguely Ilanian-shaped monsters with six limbs, leathery hides, and fissures on their bodies that revealed a pulsating, burning red fluid (one specimen even possessed wings). In addition, the creatures possess the ability to transmute their bodies into the same liquid that flowed through them. Accompanying the creatures was a group of humanoid aliens, each wielding a staff. It is unknown what relation the staff-wielding cabal of aliens had to the Aberrations, but they too attacked the Ashderian Regime forces within Lower Singularium as said Ashderians attempted to secure their respective Keystone.

• It is unknown if the sentinels have always appeared so macabre or if Nilvorin is responsible for their grotesqueness.
