Caranak, otherwise known as the First Singularity or Scholiid Heterodonyx, was the Singularity responsible for the creation of the Corruption. On Namine, he also masqueraded as a Waspcaela, more precisely--the brother of Vespid Heterodonyx--for quite some time.

Caranak gave his life to power the Abiogenesis's displacement arrays, allowing Zaarthren to use the vessel to return Vespid Heterodonyx and Nikanicreon Dara'croix from Universe BR-45327/A.
